I used to despise ML very much cuz he appeared to be a coldblooded jerk, But then I read the novel which contains so much details that some cannot be conveyed in the manhwa, and that explais a lot of things. … and well, he’s still a jerk who doesn’t know how to communicate properly with his woman, but a big part of it was caused by the way he was brought up as a future king, I guess. He’s being unfair to FL in the name of ‘for the great of the country’ bs, but I guess he genuinely cares about her and loves her, he just doesn’t know how to show it.

Just finished chapter 61 still hoping she finds out about the bet and leaves him for good. The maid is the only sane person in this story. Never felt so enraged by a FL innocence. The art is refreshing and beautiful, but the story is dragging an extremely unlanced relationship.

I recommend reading the spoilers or waiting till it gets good. Currently our ML is insufferable with having other girl in his thoughts and using our MC…🙂 (hopefully it gets better surely 🗿)

The artstyle is absolutely striking! Sometimes the translation is confusing but it’s definitely readable. Also it’s refreshing to have a more hard Victorian setting compared to the fantasy Medieval and Victorian meshes (which I also like a lot!) It’s also really refreshing to have a non-reincarnated protagonist this time around! The watermarks are annoying but not everywhere. The story so far is interesting but it leaves off on a cliffhanger on chapter 4, but overall I’m excited for this one! Thank you for the translation!!!
