FL targets an innocent man and confuses him for the other girl’s uncle because she’s too stupid to do some simple research into people’s names. She then proceeds to trick him into falling in love with her, using a bunch of cringey tactics.
Dropped it because the FL is actually a terrible person. She used the guy for her petty revenge all because she thought he was the uncle of the girl who stole her man. She didn’t even bother asking who the hell his niece actually was. Which if she did, she probably would’ve went about this a whole different way. But she didn’t until about 50 chapters in.
The art is beautiful, but the story really isn’t all that great. I read in a comment somewhere that in the drama (I think), he actually forgives the FL’s tricks and lies and gets back together with her. I wouldn’t be surprised if this manhua follows the same formula.
But yeah. Overall, author should’ve just made the FL much, much more smarter about her revenge. I felt bad for the guy realizing that he’d been played and that most of her smiles were mainly fake and disingenuous. A contract relationship would’ve been fine. At least he’d know that the entire relationship is fake.
FL sucks, the ML is just pitiful. The only thing good about this story is the art. That’s it.

This manga is far has been a personal favorite of mine. This manga may only appeal to a certain number of people, because it doesn’t have much to offer. For me there’s something about this the artstyle, the characters, the plot-that’s so wholesome about it. The updates on it are very slow so it’s a once every now and then you get a chapter, but in general I have a unidentified love for this piece.
