   I understand that FL is hurt, but she should reassess the situation. It’s not only her that experienced loneliness, ML too. And he lived everyday risking his life just to return with her.

   possible SPOILER alert. I am confused. So imagine you have a lover which is obliged to go to war and you end up pregnant with his child. You are informed of his death and raise his child alone. After years he comes back alive. What would be your reaction? So apparently the reaction is to push this apparent hero who never did anything wrong away, disregard any over his actual rights to his child, and treat him all in all like a piece of 💩. The valid social customs do not even apply to anyone. Everything is put on it’s head. Commoners are dictating how nobles should live. The only thing noble women are capable of caring about Is how loudly you sip tea. Emperor who in every historical era is in one way or another dependent on his nobles treats them like pawns without any legal rights. Again practice which you find in every historical book as prequell to every revolution and rulers demise. To sum it up a society with these settings would not last one generation let alone centuries. I have finished all current 23 chapters more out of morbid curiosity, since there are obvious tries at avoiding the usual chliche – unfortunately at the expense of quality of the story. The FL appears strong, however, she is illogical, unfair and frankly unlikable. She is playing with feelings of 2ml, considering it her being grateful, while it is disrespectful and selfish, because he helped her mother and she is haunted by her mother’s memory ( another character devoid of any redeemable quality – probably fault of the story construction since she is used as tool to force FL into 2mls continual presence). The ml is not interesting so far – he is wrapped up in his one wish, to be with FL, yet makes the least effort in relationship to his daughter – to be fair, he is currently being punished by fl, although he is yet to make ANY mistake. His only apparent crime is surviving war, winning it and returning home. And people left and right are treating him like sinner for everything. There is no heartwarming reunion of former lovers, endearing father- daughter bonding. And although the title supposes the point of view of daughter, there is none. I hoped for cute, childlike girl and her growing with newfound parent. My hopes seem really crashed.

   Imagine smashing your hand in a car door every time you had to get out of a car. That’s the FL. You try to tell her “hey, you don’t need to do that, you’re just hurting yourself.” But the FL does not care and only says that the pain is hers to bare and hers alone and you should leave.
   The story is fine, but its kind of annoying. There’s never a point where you can relate to any of the characters.

   Honestly this wouldn’t even be that bad if it wasn’t for the FL. She’s completely useless and needs help constantly but is too stubborn to accept it due to her pride but immediately asks ML whats wrong when its clear he’s in this mess because of her.

   Chapter 1-5 damn what the fckk is with the fl, her daughter wants a father and her real father just came back, and fl is like she doesn’t want her daughter to be happy. There’s tons of misunderstanding between fl and ml, but it can be solve just by explaining each other’s side and point of view, just a matter of time to understand each other forgive and it will heals, but the fl is like don’t want that to happen damn.
