1. Enthusiast Novella

   @BLisSugar Oh, finally, someone agreed. I first started reading this two years ago when it was released, but soon dropped it because of how the plot was going on. I love the art, but it was destroyed by this horrible plot line. I knew the ML was toxic from the beginning, but even after commenting on it, there were people supporting his actions. I did love this manga at one point when I just ignored all the obvious red flags. God, it’s messed up.

   So I gave this a go and my verdict is that it really isn’t THAT good .. I did get up to ch108 which i thought was pretty good, and i should pat myself on the back for even getting that far – maybe slight spoilers but i don’t go into it a lot:

   1. Was there romance between fl and ml? Honestly no. Not really. Their romance had absolutely no time to develop with all the chaos going on with their kingdoms, and all I can say about their ‘relationship’ is that it’s really not that healthy. It does get better over time, but i hated the way it started, even up until where I dropped it, their relationship was still half toxic to me.

   2. I did not like the ml a lot, nor did I the fl. Sure ml seeks revenge for his country, that’s absolutely understandable, I don’t care for his bloodlust. But the way he treats fl at first? That’s a big no to me, and they really lack communication. Fl is smart, courageous, but also a goody two shoe that’s way too pure and idealistic for the world in her time. She wishes for peace, yet keeps making mistakes because of her unrealistic ideal. She gets mad without knowing the whole story, and often ends up apologising and promising to help after the mistake has been made and the damage has been done. Let’s not mention the fact that her act of being her brother was just really really really terrible, there were a few times i wanted to give her a few friendly slaps to remind her of her own conviction when she took up this role.

   3. I never did understand how child fl could love and pine for child ml so much, right after watching him being part of the reason her country was destroyed. It confused me so much, I do wonder what goes through fl’s brain sometimes.

   4. Snake boi infuriates me, and I wonder how he’s not dead yet

   Some good points: The plot is quite alright, a star-crossed lover story. Typical fl with terrible parents, SPOILER (typical killing off the perfect brother who loves her more than anything). Typical obsessive boyfriend.

   Overall: I would like to give it a 3 star, as I did enjoy it partly, but not as much as I’d hope i would’ve

   If you are reading this, you will live an EXTREMELY HAPPY LIFE! Trust me, you and your family are going to be able to overcome all the difficulties and you will work hard to achieve the goals you want. Unfortunately, there is no way to undo this blessing…… 😁

   The best way I can describe this plot is well written fanfiction. If you read ao3 in middle school, you would probably be down for this, but again, it is very well written. It has everything that you could want from star crossed kingdoms kinda thing, but it’s done in a way that suits many tropes without being predictable in the slightest. If you’re down for the angst, it’s a work of art.

   I read over a hundred chapters in two days and I have commitment issues but this is just– chefs kiss.

   Okay, so i dont know what i would rate this bcuz theres cute moments i guess and a lot of brutal moments in the first 30 chapters already. The male lead is nice and all but he can have a lot of red flags, and the female lead can be annoying but it isnt as bad to the point id drop it. Im already at chapter 100 rn and i feel like their love is so complicated because of how many challenges they have to go through like the problems were over but now here comes another problem where the two kingdoms might not make peace bcuz the fl is the princess of another kingdom but is the ml sagas wife i forgot what its called but yeah so it doesnt align. Do read it because the plot is very interesting!

   To be honest as much as I like the art, the plot seems to be too brutal for me and I’ve never been one for angst. I probably won’t be reading this anytime soon. At least not until I’m sure that the ending is a good one, which I hope it is.

    I’m kinda not digging the mc, she’s a bit annoying to me. The art style is okay, it doesn’t suit my interests though. The plot is okay too, I mean, it wasn’t boring but not interesting enough for me to want to continue, and this was both the first and second chapter, (0 & 1). This just isn’t for me, I’m sorry. This is just my opinion though, feel free to judge this for yourself??
