the writing is a mess….
physical distance and timeline dont mean anything to the author…. events need to happen so they happen…
lets take the wedding…
in the back flash to the agreement it says 1 hour earlier, so lets take it that they needed close to one hour to move from the ml’s mansion to the mc’s …
going back they used horses and carriages the mc herself traveled using her own feet and not just any feet but high heels on a dirty road….
so lets say it took a bit more than twice the time which is still unbelievable generous to the mc now include the time she spent convincing the ml and you end up with 3-4 hours of interim.
and when they came back the wedding is still in full swing as if nothing happened?
her little trip later on wasnt notice even by the guards but somehow her cousin got wind of it and hired thugs from close enough thug hq so they could intercept her on a round trip that was less than 6hours judging by how she left when it was dark and returned when it was dark?
and those thug know exactly when an where to be?
while the information was readily available to the reader the same cant be said for the charackters in the novel…
