This is a great story if you can be realistic. The fl get groomed and has Stockholm syndrome due to her “uncle”. from a young age she was never shown actually love. Cause of that, it takes her a while to figure out what real love is. Not romantic love but just love in general. If someone is abused mentally, physically and sexually from a young age (and has never shown appropriate love) then yes it will take a lot for someone to fight back from their oppressor. Ppl in the comments really show how used they are to unrealistic fairytales. This is a realistic story of a victim, and how she becomes not a victim.
As for the emperor, idk why ppl are mad the he “cheated” when in reality (spoiler coming) he was forced into a marriage (same as his wife) in order to survive. He didn’t cheat cause him and the impress or never an actual couple. If you want to say he cheated then in reality, The Empress cheated first. She had a love (Who wasn’t his majesty) and become pregnant. Also
The empress during their 10 years of marriage was send the emperor woman so he would finally loses virginity and find a person he could really love.
Overall it’s a great dark story, that if you’re interested in psychology this would be an interesting read for you.
The only thing I have a hard time with, is ever sliver hair lady in the story, they are so hard to tell apart from the fl, but that’s it lol

the story setting is Monogamy Country not allowing any concubines. The fact that the ML used his authority to have one night stand to FL and cheat on his wife is so Terrible. Is this kind of ML you like ewww.
2. FL is so dumb. even after reincarnation still does not learn and fall in love with a cheater Red Hair ML.
a relationship full of Infidelity and Adultery.
Basically the Revenge is not justified since it will basically end with happy ever after which is Adultery from a Monogamy Setting Story.

This is actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Granted it is not for everyone as there are some dark themes like grooming and incest, but given what FL has been through, I’d say she is handling everything pretty well and is actually quite strong. It’s not something you can just get over quickly but she’s steadily making progress and learning to think and love for herself. I’m just glad that the emperor truly loves her and even the empress is helping her. The story is actually interesting too because this is one of the rare times that other people travel back in time and not just the FL.

Tbh the fl deserves no ml. The knight is probably someone she promised to marry but forgot eventually cuz of her love for her bastard uncle. She did the red hair BAD. I agree she was groomed since a very young age. She was closed off in the mansion and that uncle didn’t let her meet anyone from the outside so she thought that’s how the world works. With nobody to tell her she’s going through shit and that something is wrong with her, she thought the uncle’s words are supreme. Still, with what she did with the rest of the guys i truly feel she deserves nobody. The ml is infatuated with her after all she has done and then there’s the knight who’s fulfilling his side of the promise unconditionally. It’s too sad. Atleast, she’s a great mom

Once u reach chapter 20 things start to change. The fl is on her way of getting revenge. And chapter 43 is the end of s1. I thinks it pretty unique and good. Definitely give it ago. I skipped to chapter 11 read 14 then went to 19 because the chapters before them were making me sick. I just read them for background info. There is no incest as the uncle and fl aren’t related but there is grooming. She was 12 and he was already 15/17 basically a adult when he met her. I couldn’t handle how disgusting that was and if u can’t just skip to ch19.
Anways I can’t wait until she gets revenge on him

Well this is the first time i find an manhwa so underrated, it is true that u need to read 19 ch before the regression but tbh that is what make this the best “revenge” manhwa i read so far. On that 19 ch. u get to know the background story from the fl perspective (not from some flashbacks like we usually do on this king of story) n that makes u hate the villain with all ur heart n trully feel the feelings from the main characters. Im pretty sure if u guys give it a chanse u will want to drop it before the 1st 20 ch, but honesttly if u manage to endure that hatefull start, u’ll love it.

Also to the people who hate on the FL, xut her a little slack, she was GROOMED and BRAINWASHED. She was a little girl who was touch-starved and manipulated, with no power of her own. I honestly don’t like any of them, even the ML, because he’s a mega simp, but they’re honestly realistic characters with flaws.

DON’T LISTEN it gets better. chloe’s past life goes on for 19 or so chapters, but it just helps the reader get angrier at this bastard who manipulated her. chloe goes on to completely despise kairos and want to kill him, even though kairos is now showing her affection in this new life. it is disgusting at first but bear with it, because the revenge is so satisfying (at least in the novel)
