Isar is a good brother to her.. Which is rare where parents are mean to her.
I hope all goes well and she can save Isar from the tyrant ML. ML is really scary. If given a choice, if they are truly cousin or not blood related then I will go for Isar. Since ML wants to kill her and was keeping her alive for his amusement. Not acceptable.
I’m quite sure Isar is not her half-brother. She’s a daughter of the previous duke and his wife. Current duke got rid of her father and took her mother as his wife braking engagement with the woman he already had child with. They were never even raised as siblings nor were they close because of this fact. I personally have nothing against Isar liking FL but as it always goes they won’t be a couple. I have nothing against it especially because the ML knows the past and already planned to kill her despite her not even doing anything wrong and for the sole fact of being amused he’s letting her live longer. Isar is the only one that really there for her, saved her in past and now worries as to how to keep her alive.
I’ll give Isar the benefit of doubt (for now) that his feelings for FL are that of SIBLINGS & he probably saw how his parents mistreated her & is protective of her due to that
