This is actually a very real dynamic that happens a lot with foster parents and their bio children. The truth is that she likely views her charges as equal to her son, so she wouldn’t be able to convincingly say he is special and above them, which is what he wants.

Oh as a child i felt extremely jealous as well. So I understand where he comes from the mother is more to be blamed and he should just sell the orphanage and just forget and abandon his memories of his mother
I kinda wish he would sell it. If you don’t want to work there don’t take it out on kid that weren’t even alive when you where a kid going through it. I totally get why he feels the way he does but stay and only causing problems for ppl who did nothing but be born is wrong. No other way, once she die he should’ve left too. Found his own thing, make a new family maybe…. But not this. The mom is the problem and how she see it is rose color glasses. If you wanted to be a mom to everyone you probably shouldn’t have had your own kid. Parent with 5 kids do this too, not being able to love every kid equally and the kids feel it the most
I mean if she wanted to take care of orphans maybe she shouldn’t have a kid of her own because obv that kid will feel left out and jealous idk it’s just my opinion

I feel sorry for her biological kid. Even her desire for showing that she loves her kid more is just for him to run the orphanage better.
