Yeah, she should have just been a mercenary or an assassin– but I guess being a knight with all that honor pays more.. You can even be granted a baron title and land or something if you achieved great results.
why is she a knight if her loyalty depends on who has more money? it doesn’t make sense and its kind of irresponsible of the people / the imperials to accept her into knighthood and for the comment above yeah she would be better off as a mercenary. knights have something called honor and they have an oath that they are bound to as well as a pledge by which they pledge loyalty, but girlie over here would go above and below for a gold coin ? and they let her stay, heck she even killed her master or one of her masters, the crown prince how, how does that work babes?
For someone who can easily kill for money and isn’t loyal she should have been a mercenary. I would not hire her to be an imperial knight if she could easily accept killing the people she pledge to protect, so honestly she deserved to be killed. It’s funny how she ends up getting a second chance at life to redeem herself. I hope the author gives a good reason.
