This story is so empty and boring, around chapter 30 I just decided to skip to chapter 51 to see if it picks up- it does not. Doesn’t even feel like I missed any of the plot by skipping ahead. Then the last 3 chapters were so rushed that it actually skipped over things that might have been interesting to see, but instead just expositioned like “then this super interesting thing happened off-page”, and shoved in a happily ever after so unearned it was insulting.
Pacing is just awful, for sure. Plus the FL isn’t the one that accomplishes her own revenge – it gets delegated out and she just sits around!
I cannot in good conscience recommend wasting your time on this one.

@pecel lele i dont think its just misogyny being the issue, its cas the FL treated the ML coldly when he didnt deserve it.
All is Fair in Love and War
@ Vyviren They explained in chapter 11 about why she married. (1) She never heard anything from him in all those years and really thought he had died (2) the Nun pushed her to accept the marriage, saying the monastery wouldn’t be able to keep housing her (3) she was told the monastery’s funds were low so her marriage would get them enough money to feed the other kids. Given her options were left at “marry this rich dude and let everyone live comfortably” or “live on the streets while HOPING this guy you know comes back to marry you”, I can’t blame her for choosing the marriage (even if we now know how that went). She told him “I got tired of waiting” and that is partly true because why should anyone wait for a POTENTIAL love for 8+ years? If he was dead, she would have doomed herself. Don’t let your sappy ideas about “true love” and classic mushy romance stories blind you to the perfectly realistic limitations on what a person is willing to suffer through just for a fantasy love.
Even after its revealed more of the trickery of other people that split them up, that doesn’t mean she should jump into his arms right off the bat. Not only would that make a cheap love story, it would make no sense. Her childhood love for him faded; maybe not disappeared, but it can’t be very strong after 8+ years of nothing. Love takes time and nurturing; not an old promise and a few happy memories. That what makes a slow-burn romance so fulfilling.

bro why are the mc’s name are Guinevere and lancelot…those are mlbb names btw and especially their siblings on mlbb(game) puros ml ko toh eh

Recommended. Firm FL, does not let love life hinder her revenge

This manhwa is good for people who prefer calculated plot full of politics instead of romance. So if you’re into romance, you maybe disappointed because it’s slow burn. FL prioritize revenge and survival over any romantic relationship which I actually like. Personally I think the bad reviews towards fl is more due misogyny instead of actual fl’s flaw. She has reason for marriage as she literally sold of by the priest. Remember she is refugee princess from falling kingdom and has no power. She is badly abused both physically and mentally by the late husband’s family. So of course she has no time for love. Yet reader still bashing her just because she rejects ml advances,
Vyviren
Dont waste your time reading this shit.
Read the first 7 to 10 chapters you will understand why.
She has nothing redeeming about her.
I feel sory for the ML. The dude won a war just come back and see the FL treat him like garbage(after she got sent to the past) also she got married with the pretext “I got tired of waiting”.
Like the ML has any say on how long a war can last. In short this is one if not THE most annoying and frustrating storie ever.
Honestly i wanted the ML to never even bother with her.
I dont care if it get better, 15 chapters in all i got to say is “I got tired of waiting”.

I hate how they stop mentioning her daughter all together…

Ngl but I hoped that she would’ve kept the land and title to herself and not run away from everything.
