If you’re actually the author i eould expect you to be pretty clever. Not clueless and always forgetful of your own plot (i know there’s a reason she forgot) but even most “author mcs” who get isekai’d always go, “oh yeah! I wrote that too!”
Just no way. Its pretty ignorant of what authors do.
The biggest problem i have with these “author” mcs are that Authors (most professional authors atleast) are very intelligent, clever people who have vast knowledge and perspectives.
But these authors are just….. They dont feel like they’re real authors, at least.
Am i wrong to say that? Take an author who’s successful and isekai them into their world. Even if thar author forgot what they wrote, they’re authors. That author can assume what angle their story was meant to take. And all other sorts of things.
It just doesnt make sense. She’s too stupid to be an actual professional author.
So i just assume these “authors” are more likely fanfiction authors and whatnot because it makes no sense that they’re the actual authors.

Writing about the world doesn’t make you god though… l imagine the real god put you in this world.
