What a position, though not uncommon, for this guy (a lieutenant?) to be the the boss of a squad of military men, but subservient to a female lead.
Middle management isn’t fun, but add macho culture, miscommunication, and a burgeoning relationship, “not easy” is a serious understatement. Should be fun.

Elsewhere… I could see how changes have made the lead more lovable, but I hope the writer has come up with a truly brilliant way for noticing that his daughter is now acting less like his clone eveke some form of primitive affection in the father’s atrophied heart.
I’m loving the knights, it’s not easy to recognize one’s mistakes and misunderstandings and try to fix the situation right away, the world would be a better place if people could do that
