@Kmei.. I agree with your points. I honestly think you should read “I don’t believe in my twin sister” or “I don’t trust my twin”. That manhwa doesn’t have the plotholes were the FL didn’t had anything to offer rather her offer was very impressive. She also didn’t made it the way that ML will think that FL is not getting anything in return. She made her standing clear that both parties are gaining something from the contract. That Manhwa is interesting and funny to read. The few things which I dislike is FL’s twin sister and the art. I am not saying that the art is bad, it’s good too but the promo chapter’s art is just too eye catching, the promo chapter art is similar to Death is only ending for the Villainess. I think you should read that manhwa.
OK, so the main issue I have with all these “marriage of convenience” plot-lines, is that the FL literally has nothing to offer the counter-party. Yeah, in this case, you can say the Duke met with her because he had these miraculous letters from the future, but the FL didn’t know that going into the negotiations. Her argument on why he should marry her is “I’m a good person and I’ll accept you for who you are,” which, to be honest, sounds a bit pompous. For a contract marriage, he is gaining nothing. Objectively speaking, if not for those letters, there would have been no reason for him to accept her. She brought nothing to the table; for someone who was supposedly Empress in the previous life, she’s not particularly smart or good at preparing. I struggle with this. But so far, I like the male lead.
