Wasn’t it already established earlier when they rescued that red-haired admiral from that giant sea monster that Lithera’s 2nd life’s world (the one where she was killed by Evrett after their divorce) continued to exist albeit it has fallen to monsters and it’s denizens turned to daemons??? What is there to be surprised about?
In her second life, she’s killed by Everet. Sending Pel into a rage apparently, he probably used his last bit of divine energy to curse everyone into being daemons and now stands guard over her grave in that timeline.
She is however reborn into her 3rd lifetime in which she marries Pel before shit hit the fan, and now the two timelines are coexisting. They see each other through the rifts.
