On one hand, I almost feel sad for clarisse, but, isn’t part of why he’s drawn to Sofia purely because of his own attraction? I personally don’t like how quick she was so separate him from the people who was close to just so she could get a chance to have him alone, and immediately sees a single mother as her competition. In a way, I get it, but it’s also no Sofia’s fault. She’s not pursuing Leo. Meanwhile, Clarisse obviously is. She’s throwing herself at Leo and orchestrating ways manipulate the situation so that they happen to be alone… when she could just be honest about her feelings the way Leo was… and as someone who’s supposedly known him since childhood, she should probably be aware that he prefers honesty over trickery.

Besides, it’s a red flag that if she can’t have him she’d refuse to hang out with anyone else. There’s no reason she needs to close herself off from anyone else except the man she has a one sided crush on. So she puts me off as a ticking time bomb waiting to happen
