Tbh I agree that he should be the first for her to trust in again. Because the only thing he did wrong was when he was having that convo that she overheard and misunderstood. In a way during that time even he was trying to keep her safe knowing that bringing more attn to her might cause bigger problems. Like, when ur a kid you can’t really go up against the adults. They say you can’t talk to someone, then you can’t. If you grew up brainwashed abt smeone it’s not rly ur fault. He found out she was just another normal girl and gave her his coat AND referred to her as family before anyone else did verbally to her. But bc of politics and his already formed dedication to his older bro, he kinda didn’t have much choice to intervene with her. So I support the rebuilding of their sibling relationship UwU
