I don’t get this girl. At this stage she proved herself. She can probably secure that government job now. She confirms she has feelings for On. So shouldn’t she drop out or fail on purpose now? If On was not the emperor, she would be heading closer to the Empress seat and that would mean she could never have with him.
I feel like it’s inevitable that she tells the Empress to fail her BC she loves On and the Empress hides that reason from On due to the Empress’s prejudice against her family. But they are dragging this out so much.
