Let me guess. This is one of those stories where even though ML hates FL because her family is “evil”, he finds out her (before being possessed) being a villainess is because she was abused, so ML gets sympathetic and gets interested/obsessed with her. New FL isn’t mean or evil anymore so she somehow redeems herself to everyone, FL and ML fall in love blah blah blah and then the “son”, Lucius, is not ML’s real son. Probably his nephew, because apparently in these stories the male lead cannot have a love life before he meets the female lead.
