I do not know if this was true but someone in a previous chapters comments said that she ends up marrying him for the empire but it’s more or less a business transaction. So since it seems like she never forgives him based on that I’d say romance is probably not accurate. Personally I hope she never forgives him. She hasnt tried killing him to get out of this cycle. Maybe she’ll kill him in the most painful way possible. Alas that’s wishful thinking as it wouldnt help the empire she loves.

I think that there are around 4 dragons and after their mate dies their body “dies” and their soul goes into the lake and when their mate is reincarnated they wake up. If i am understanding it wrong please correct me
