you guys hate too much on the ML region, he HAD to execute the kingdom, what right does he have to decline the emperor’s request? Also multiple times in the manhwa there are obvious reactions that prove he doesn’t like the emperor, he has trauma with witches and betrayal he’s going to be on the edge with the mc. No, I think she has it right. He’s a narcissist. He’s infatuated with her now but how long will that last? He said it himself. Her rose is in bloom atm. She will wilt eventually and then he will make the cut.

I see what is happening here. So to sum up all , his feeling for her was real but she misunderstood the feeling he has as something else .
