She should show his father some appreciation atleast… I feel a bit bad for him since he tries so hard to protect her and win her trust but she pushes him away when it isnt even his fault, he had no other choice but to make her emperor and she’s using the authority of the emperor too. I dont get why she doesn’t show her dad the love he deserves..
Correction, I meant to say that according to Estevan, Mable came because she cares about him, while Mable came because she didn’t want any bloodshed or death, be it that of her own people or a child that she had somewhat helped escape when she was younger and couldn’t walk yet.
I get where Mabel is coming from, but damn are the reactions funny as hell.
Although I feel that Mabel WAS at least somewhat concerned about her father, and came running to save him in just the chapter previous to this one, it is still funny that Estevan is focusing more on the fact that the dangerous boy wants his daughter, and said daughter now call him by his name.
