   @i wanna isekai so badd your right I think me saying that the dad is in love with the FL was a little to far and after reading chapter 74 my opinion has changed. However I still feel like Oscar should be getting the same amount of love from his father just like his sister no matter what situation they have going on. One part of the story showed where the emperor banned all boys ages 5-15 to be banned from the castle including Oscar. I don’t know if he didn’t realize this banned was applied to Oscar as well but that’s basically kicking your own son out your house to go live with his mother which he didn’t want to. Plus I don’t recall the king ever apologizing to Oscar about accidentally kicking him out the castle. I don’t think he even cared to be honest. I dont know if they wanted us to forget the whole ordeal and pretend like it never happened and Oscar and his father are good again but that just feels wrong to me ya know? For Oscar to not be all that loved from his mother and to have an awkward relationship with his father I still feel like he deserves better. I also think he deserves more love from his father to make up the lack of love he receiving from his mother. Plus with that fan club trend you are talking about I’m not really a fan of that trope I find it to be a little weird when the brother and father and sometimes mother are all up on the FL and doesn’t seem to give her space because in reality that isn’t normal in a family. Like I understand there is family love but in some of these manhwa (not this one) I feel like it’s way more then family love. It feels like if in a way if the brother or sometimes even father if the FL was older werent family then the brother and father would want to have a romantic relationship with the FL. I’m not exaggerating because things like having affairs with your own family does happen in real life and it’s not a good thing.

   mycahlovesit3 I agree with you somewhat but first of all, the emperor loves both of his kids too
   But just shows extra affection towards his daughter, Oscar as he said in the latest chapter was raised by mabel’s mother, the dad loves Oscar too but it’s just awkward kinda love, and mostly they’re acting like mabel’s fan club heads, this kind of the treatment is portrayed in many manhwas just not this, maybe it’s just the trend

   AND, for you to say that he is falling in love with his daughter is too much, it’s just that as she’s growing she is resembling her mother a lot more, and till the recent chapters they never showed the way the emperor has lived till now, maybe cause he’s missing her like crazy and now he sees resemblance of her in him daughter makes him miss her even more that made him resort to hallucinogens

   Love can be really scary, if u read WMMAP Claude literally used Black magic to remove all of his memories regarding his own wife and daughter, cause the death of his wife was too much to bear for him who never felt such love from anyone except her

   @Galanthus I don’t think I need to. I’ve read the spoilers as well and it confirmed what I was thinking. I know Oscar was given a “choice” but how much of a choice was it really? It was either give up the throne and save your little sister or ascent the throne and have her kidnapped. That’s not a fair choice to make and honestly it didn’t even make sence. The father cares more for his daughter because she looks like the woman he loved. Would it really hurt the story if the father was crazy for both his children?

   @Galanthus, @bunnylove is still right as someone who is caught up the author is trying to make it seem like Oscar never cared about being the crown prince and is happy that Mabel will become the emperor. I understand the father did it to protect Mabel from the high priest but I just feel like its wrong in some way you know? A baby becoming the emperor seems like a joke to me. On top of that not only does the mother neglect Oscar the king doesn’t seem to love/care for Oscar the same way he does Mabel. To prove this in one of the chapters the king said something along the line that if he ever loses Mabel he will lose control but what about Oscar he still their so why would he lose control. Plus what if Oscar died would he have felt the same way and lost control? Its even more suspicious because in later chapters he starts to see Mable as his dead wife which is suspicious to me like are you falling in love with your own daughter because she looks like you deceased wife is that the only reason you fond over her so much?

   I had to stop reading because of the way the son/brother is treated. While I like stories with a loving father towards his daughter I can’t help but feel bad when the sons are treated differently. I just can’t stand favoritism even in fiction. Oscar is a sweet boy without any jalousy it’s just unfair how he is treated compared to his little sister. Oscar is treated harshly because he’s the heir but somehow the sister get’s everything and can do no wrong. It’s frustrating.

   I learned to justify why an adult in a baby’s body would act so childish. Their mind may be an adult but their body is physically a child so their brain isn’t developed yet. Their impulse control is of a baby, they cannot help the outbursts, the childish irrational thoughts, etc.
