Yes, Cesio has always been trash. Thing is… in novels like this it isn’t played as him being “human” and having a bad side too… no in novels like these there are basically three versions:
1. He is a trash person but his horrible behavior is excused and forgiven by the FL simply because he mainly acts badly towards people that is against her or him.
2. His abusive but the FL wins him over and “changes him” because she is the FL.
3. The ML continues being abusive and the FL basically becomes abused by him and likes it.
This is how it is mainly always handled in novels (especially when written by female writers)
Yeah, she can’t get away from horrible relationships even with power she just seems to lack a sense of judgement. I mean she went out with a guy who only cared for his mother and allowed her to get hit and humiliated and she was fine with that until he cheated.? she keeps saying she can’t get along with the prince and is using him, but let’s be honest it’s obvious she’s interested in him. If he showed her kindness she’d take him in a heartbeat.
I mean, there is no “romance” genre information in this manhwa. And the cover doesn’t show Cesio’s face at all (which means probably he is not the Male Lead, meh, does this manhwa has male lead, actually? ?). So, I highly doubt they will end up together 🙁 though I was kinda hoping they will. They look good together but Cesio’s personality is just…. confusing ?
