@truthspeaker, he actually is mean, because he blindly trust his mother. And he don’t even defend Terry when she slaps her. Even if there’s an argument, she doesn’t have the right to hit anyone. He’s a mommy’s crying son.
Jemon isn’t actually a bad guy though… he has always just been trying to be there for his mother. The mother on the other hand suffers from hysterics due to believing that people are trying to take her sin away from her just like how her husband was “taken away from her”. She isn’t
a bad person either but is basically just insane. Cerio pretends to be an invalid and a mute because it will allow him to not have to deal with Jemon’s mother… that and he might actually be a villain.
