i have a theory that all 4 personalities are all enrique but at different stage of life, just that after the war, the difference in personalities makes Enriques lives with this 4 people as if what could he would have been if the old personalities didnt completely fade away with situation/time

Yeah either it’s a supernatural story and he’s possessed by Garcia and Louis or they were his friends in the battlefield. Maybe ML was the officer who helped Garcia not getting killed for stealing and then all his friends died 😭
