Nah in the novel Eclis only brings the “OG FL” back so that the current FL would only rely on him. And if she would be banished from her family he would be okay with that since that would mean she would NEED to rely on him
On another note, Eclis is right. She won’t actually do anything to leave the house. She could have looked or other avenues. She carries a disdain for everything that Eclis noticed. Yes, she has a reason to be, but she shouldn’t be surprised Eclis figured her out.
honestly, I’m on Eclis side. Throughout the story, she focused on Eclis, but she was so obvious about using him and anytime he tried to get close, she would always do the stupid thing and not reassure him. And I was yelling at her about the stupid choices she was making if her goal was to win Eclis over. You wanted him to love you, but kept him as a slave. You treated him like a pet. I’m honestly surprised the story addressed the fact that Eclis could see it and acknowledge the fact she was using him. I think Eclis has this self hatred for falling for this person who is using him, but has no purpose but to cling to her since he has lost everything. Eclis could have been the one if she actually did things to connect to him on a legit level.
Kind of disappointed Eclis won’t be the lead. I don’t really want the other male leads. With this incident its obviously now going to be the prince and while they have decent chemistry, I’m tired of the “must find someone o higher status” trope.
@Prettybish actually the Magician to her was the most dangerous person , aside from the Prince, because in the original game he was the one who brought the real Yvonne back to the household and not Eclis. The extra danger there is he’s a Magician who can literally make impossible things possible with magic, and can literally has the power to kill her anytime and anywhere. She was trying to avoid death so she chose Eclis who was like a submissive person before betraying her
Finally 😭 Girl, anyone with eyes can see that he is NOT a good choice for your goal. He’s crazy and mentally unstable. She should’ve chosen the magician or the crown prince. The magician is the safest option and probably the easiest tbh. The crown prince seems to be the more natural option though since she likes him
