okay… i have noticed something that penelope and lloyd(from the greatest estate developer) have in come they now they are in a game or book but they can’t seem to acknowledge that the people around them are real you especially penelope , it is understand for penelope to be guarded but doesn’t she see she is hurting herself in the process .
in the case of lloyd he isn’t honest with himself about how he feels about his family. it is good writing but i would like the misunderstanding to resolved before the of manhwas
To reply to @Orion22 and @Whalien comments, she cant take the easy way around bc compared to the original game and this life that she is living. Yvone became leila (idk if its a demon or a monster but its an enemy from mages) and if that existence has the power to brain wash and alter the story easily so you cant expect Penelope to pick the easy way out and trust people because leila has the ability to mind control each and every character in the story resulting them to might possibly betraying her in the end, shes just careful with her actions bc her decision can both lead to her miserable death or a happy ending.
And she doesn’t want to gamble her life to characters who can just easily be influenced by leilas power.
