In this story I find the male “leads” really interesting. I mean, Callisto is considered crazy, yet is the most rational and genuine one among them. The pink head was absolute spoilt brat his whole life, but actually grows into decent being right in front of our eyes. The rabbit guy seems mild and good, yet for the sake of his “calling” which is a good thing, he is able of betrayal- he sees the bigger picture and knows what he has to do while loosing his personal happiness for it. The slave guy is a dark horse from the begging, plotting his survival, revenge on his enemies, yet knowing they both manipulate each other, he goes beyond limits- for his personal happiness he forsakes the bigger picture. (Turns out to be the opposite of the rabbit guy) And last is Derek, I mean, of the two brothers, he !seems! To be the decent human being, a bit cold maybe at first, but in front of our eyes he grows into a spoilt brat. I hear it is a great writing tool to have sets of characters having similar story line/character development line – but the two starting from the opposite ends- basically two people living through similar experiences in life- one starts bad and turns good, the other starts good but turns bad. This story proves it! I usually hate too many people mingling within the story, because they are usually duplicates of each other, only introduced at different times. But here, the characters really are complicated and each is true to their own personality, so I enjoy the clashes of MC with each one of them- that’s quite a feat for the author, so 👍👍👍!
