Finally finally I got to see the mother in the manhwa world. It has always been like she lost her mother her dad avoided her, but deep down he cared for his daughter and some sobbing flash back of the dad and dead mom. And then we were screaming like please we need a separate story of mom and dad. Now this is satisfaction.
Idk if it was mentioned and idc to check but when did she regain her memory? I feel like she could’ve prepared her escape better, and do so at an earlier time. Yknow, maybe on a day when everyone is not high on edge because of losing the war. Choosing to escape the day the emperor arrives is certainly a choice (with a plan made up the very same day mind you). Assuming she regained her memories the same day as the army surrendered, why couldn’t she wait to ride the horse when there’s no one nearby lmao. Wouldn’t being scared of her fate make her cautious and try to lower any possibility of anyone seeing her escape?
I’m glad someone finally spoke up about that overused trope of killing mothers so that no other female can steal FL’s spotlight. Noooo, the mother always HAS to be dead. How else coild the father dote so much of the daughter if there’s another female around?
