Esella is a good child. She blamed herself for everything even though realistically, what could she do as the youngest? She’s still underage, but out of all the family members, she was the only one who analyzed her own actions and realized what she did wrong. Sometimes you don’t realize your own behavior until its called out or compared to what the actual norm is. The knight made her realize that by simply question what normal protocol is.
