Not gonna lie I did get frustrated with Riche’s denial, but she’s rationally thinking straight from a social stand point and I agree with her. Richie is wanting a good happy life and marrying a duke as a commoner is anything but happy. I’ve read enough manhwas to see how miserable the wife and children ends up, even if the husband is loving and protective in the end he can do so much. Richie would only get bullied and her children would be miserable 😭 of course we know she’s actually a noble but no one else does
I disagree. Yes, the actual romance is slow, however, I think she is not being dumb. She just said she refuses to be his misstress – and to be fair, he has yet to confess that he wants to marry her. So far he hinted and she did nit see, then refused to see, but she is extremely rational and realistic about the social laws. Eran intentions are clear to readers, not to people around him – none is in on his plans. Realistic would be to become his lover, which she refuses to be. But I think this part is conluding, afterall he is waiting for her to become adult, which is around the corner and based on her glimpsing the future, by that time the relationship is clearly intimate and serious.
For being such a genius she is so stupid about this. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt but she’s being obtuse and honestly doing Eran a disservice by doubting him when he’s only ever been sincere. I’m not sure how much longer I can continue to stick with this one if she’s going to be this dumb
