So this manhwa started off REAL strong and had so much potential. It didn’t start off like your typical regressor story at all. But the author definitely dropped the ball midway through this. Without going into too much detail and spoiling it I don’t think the characters were well-written. There were times where I just couldn’t understand the FL’s logic. It felt like she was just sulking for many of the chapters. While I wouldn’t go so far as to say that she’s the most weak-minded character I’ve read, she definitely wasn’t the most proactive or cunning when it came to her regression/revenge story. Also, there were a few areas in the plot that could’ve benefitted from more exposition. It felt like there were quite a few “happened off camera” parts, i.e. wtf did Gilian even do that was so bad? How was he able to orchestrate the riot?

I don’t know why this has low ratings 🤔 This is good. WAYYY BETTER THAN SOME TRASH IVE SEEN BEFORE. It’s dark and depressing though. Oh and the ml is the emperor, so you already know there’s some political battles/problems which drive the conflict in the story. Overall a good read 👍
