I don’t understand why other readera are touched. This chapter makes me angry!!! 1st, Max truly didnt realize he was making her worry. He doesnt care at all what Jubel must be feeling. Two, the father IS INCAPABLE OF COMMUNICATION. FUCKING TALK TO UR DAUGHTER. THE FUCK. IM SO ANGRY. JUBEL WAS FORCED TO KILL HERSELF BECAUSE YOU FUCKING DIDNT STAND UP FOR HER. YOU DESERVE TO FEEL ANGUISH, DUMB FATHER. GOSH IM SO MAD. The guys in this novel are ALL SHIT.
So the knife was given to her for protection. And Max never went to torture her, because Max was already a student of her father. So he might have visited her to fool the royals (the stepmom and sister). He is not on good terms with his stepmom so there is no reason to seek revenge for his half-sister. They might have another plan but she misunderstood her father and Max because her father had always been cold to her. So both she and her father went back to the past.
WAIT!!! I thought the father died of grief and hung himself. You’re telling me that he somehow made a wish to reverse time and that he remembers what happened. That is so tragic but if he came back even earlier than her, why didn’t he change his path and just kill the king? Poor him remembering holding his dead daughter. No wonder when she first fainted and like chapter 5 or whatever it was. He was so scared
