Scrolling through the below, there is no need for arguments. Once Kael gets really together with Hess, her revenge will become one of their relationship issues. The prince screwing her over now, will come to bite him back later, Hess will be avenged on this front. Actually, all in all the prince will have full redemption arc, while Diana will be stubborn and selfdestructive till the end – lets face it, she was the one with both positive and negative stimuli to cause development to her character and fails – the change in person comes only when they are open to it and she is not. In the end, this contrast in chracter development between her and the prince is pretty good and makes the story feel real and with point. As for Hestia being petty, of course she is petty, we all are (for example, we would critize a character in a book for not behaving in virtuous way in every possible decision) she has the means to make the two pay and even blatanly points out how to stop her from targeting them (simply apologize). Each chose differently and so, each is treated by her differently. I myself, do not enjoy MC manipulating every one into seemingly right path- in the end that is just it, manipulation. Every person has the right to better themselves when faced with trouble, knowing their are caused by others or to destruct themselves for the same reason. I myself was manipulated before and even if trough this manipulation you behave better, once you realize you are played it all crumbles down and you feel like sh*t. Hestia letting Diana destroy herself, without going illegal and assassination style seems pretty good to me. There is also a major point in the story not yet made clear. Hestia DOES NOT yet accept living in this world. In the novel it is stated, that she treats her actions as rewriting the story to her liking with the aims of having Kael satisfied happy ending, but NEVER does she consider being his happy ending. When forced to stop her scheme against Diana, she feels the ending of the story she is writing right now is bland and cut off and not worth reading. Her existence becoms empty a she needs to learn to live like a normal human again – without cheats and godcomplex of transmigration. This later causes her a big existentional crisis, because she suddenly is not watching a good story, rewriting it or manipulating things in the palm of her hand. It becomes quite a big deal later on. ___ I read this novel twice so far and am in the middle of rereading agan – all in all, I consider it pretty good, with logical conclusions, making the end realistic yet sweet (wait for the glimpse of the babies). Considering transmigration genre, I consider this in my top three.
