So Stella and Ed don’t know anything about anything, dana and professor only know about Timeline 1( OG novel) and Arcus remembers Timeline 2.

There are 3 timelines in this story.
Timeline 1- original novel that was sold in MC(Dana’s) world
Timeline 2- the past life which has already gone according to the novel (from which Arcus remembers his memories)
Timeline 3- the present timeline.
Now the thing is that the novel’s world keeps repeating, so when dana dies in the timeline 2, the og novel continued as it is. Arcus remembers all these details (some are really gruesome- his childhood friend dies, his family is framed for treason and his entire household is murdered) so he begs for the time to go turn back. One more thing to add is in og novel and timeline 2 – when ed is attacking arcus (cuz of Stella), Stella is the one who tells him about arcus’s hometown where he and dana are from, and there arcus sees dana die sacrificing herself for him. This is the main reason why he doesn’t love Stella anymore. He realises that his feelings for Stella might have been because she was so different from dana(his childhood friend and fiance). Stella is free spirited, independent and very different- so maybe arcus’s attraction started from curiosity about her. He realises that dana is way more important to him than Stella and the fact that Stella basically betrayed him also influences this.
Now when dana dies in timeline 2 and reincarnates into timeline 3, she doesn’t remember anything. The professor is also someone who knows about the original novel and not timeline 2 and the reason for the change in arcus’s behaviour. So both dana and the professor feel that dana would be able to return to her original world only nd arcus with the help of the professor, who he tells everything, helps resolve all these issues too. He promises to be with dana this time and fulfils his engagement. The novel has a happy fulfilling her role in the novel.

@villainess4me, Stella doesn’t really remember anything. What she is feeling is what she has to feel as the OG FL of the novel. So maybe they are innocent feelings of first love or maybe the novel’s original storyline is also influencing her feelings to grow faster. But no she doesn’t remember anything from her past life.
As for Ed, it seems that he was always in love with Stella. But right now in the story we see him getting concious of dana. So maybe he is getting to attracted to dana now, but that’s only what I think.
@villainess4me I think they feel something but maybe don’t remember but I want to know why and how he came back to the past because he said that he’s in love with Stella not Dana so if he was in love with Stella and she didn’t die I don’t know why he’s acting like that. Maybe he realised that he loved her ? But it doesn’t seem like love to me so I don’t really understand
