I get it now. He did love Stella and he was able to lose everything for her, his parents and home. BUT after losing Dana than everything inside him left and he couldn’t feel anything. He felt like he lost a part of himself. Even though he was finally with his love. Which meant he actually loved Dana more than anything in the world. N he was much more precious to him than he thought.
Now i get it, he loved Stella before the regresion, but he was in love with Dana… i mean u can love a lot of people, but thats different of being in love with them. He realized that once he looked back to all he lost n how he wasn’t abble to fullfil his promise to Dana

No, it’s not that he doesn’t want to love Stella anymore but it seems like he wants to save both of his friends after seeing of what happened in the future. After realizing of all of those sacrifices he made in the future just for Stella, he realized that he felt very empty knowing that what he held dear was lost and the happy feeling he felt was whenever he was with his friends back then. His dear friends, especially Dana. Were the people who are very much dear to him than Stella and from what im seeing so far, I think his feelings for Dana is much more stronger than Stella. So basically he’s in love with Dana.
This makes sense, after sacrificing everything for Stella just to end up loosing everything and everyone he held dear I can see why he doesn’t wanna love her anymore because that love lead to doom
