So, I want to tell you all what my catch is in what I’ve read, not only from this manhwa but from manhwa in general. Most of the time, when they came into the novel as a side character, villainess, support character, e.c.t, all the FL are like puppies for the heroine and think that she is the best and the nicest one there because when they read the book, the person whose point of view they were reading was the heroines. In the end, they find out that the original FL is a bitch, something we found out the moment we were introduced to Stella.( because she was jealous of the way arcane acted towards Dana) One more thing that I noticed about Stella is that she acts with the crowd, what do I mean? Remember the entrance ceremony? That time Stella acted because she HEARD the other students getting annoyed and because she wanted to fit in, she argued with Dana, when Dana clearly said multiple times that she is fine. Where am I going with this you may ask, the person who kept INSISTING that Dana wasn’t well was arcane, so the person who Stella should’ve argued with was arcane, not Dana. BUT Stella targeted Dana so she would be noticed by arcane and the other students. In the end, Stella always misunderstands and thinks that she is the most important person so she should know everything about the other one, oh, and she is selfish :)))
I mean if Stella really considered Dana’s as a friend she should considered her feelings as she fell in love with her fiance or ever ask her about it, I would never see my best friend’s fiance or boyfriend that way or if I ever love him or have a crush on him I would never be with him since he is my best friend’s fiance, i don’t hate her but like she should consider other’s feelings too she is the main reason why all of the problems happened in their past life
khayat said everything, I particularly find Stella more irritating, and egoist, in this lifetime at least Arcane see his mistake and tried correcting it, the thing is he is engaged since childhood with Dana, I can see that he felt pressured by it, and saw in Stella a scape BUT he didn’t really love her he makes this clear in remembering the past, his feelings for her came from the peace and relief he felt in not having responsibility with her and by this, he could just let things flow, is the same principle of man cheating or leaving the wife for the mistress and after that, he realizes that the mistress was not the reason and he didn’t love her, it was just that he wanted to be free, AND a thing that gave him points with me is that even after realizing it in the first timeline he (now being an adult, differently when he broke the engagement with Dana when he was 15-18 years old) still takes responsibility for his choice and according to the original history he made stella happy after that, now he is raving the chance of being with the person that he truly loves, he has no obligation with THIS stella, and actually he is making sure she doesn’t fall for him.
Stella on the other hand still doesn’t’ care for anyone but herself, and when I said it, means that she doesn’t care for anyone feelings, she seems to try but not because she is concerned about others, but because she doesn’t like being seen as “selfish” what she is, the typical “I am good and everybody should love me, there is no way I do something wrong” kind of person, she doesn’t seem to realize that all her interactions with others are superficial and she is not interested in it, I know some people this way, they basically do things “just for show”, and don’t even know there is more to it, they are comfortable in the surface of things, basically they will if needed to go out of the way to help a friend but not for the friend, but because is “the right to do, and if I don’t do this I am bad”, this kind of people has no lealty and basically use people to feel goos as she does with arcane, who makes her feel special and loved, with Dana a friend she has because she is easy-going and adore stella so she doesn’t aspects anything of her, but do a lot (who do you think is the one asking to do things together or the one who is understanding of the other schedule) and Edgar, my god she clearly just use him to realise her feelings, almost all their interactions is her crying in his shoulders, do you think she would place any importance in him without that? do you think she would do the same? do you think that if he tells her all his feelings she would be willing to be a friend and think about his feelings? I can see clearly her ruining away of having to deal with it, or worse trying to lower the importance of his feelings like “is not so bad, just forget it and focus on me”
In this story, I think Arcane and Stella were the main reason for the bad ending of the Edgar and Diana. If arcane didn’t love Diana in the past and saw her as his childhood friend, he should tell this to his parent, so he won’t become her fiancé. It’s natural to think about your future with your fiancé and be found of him, and he should let her go, in this story other people always saw Diana as his childhood friend or his past fiancé ,they never saw her as Diana , this was arcane fault and for Stella was the same, when she was alone or feel lonely, she always went to him and cry in his arm, she was the one who make him feel like, I should protect her, I am the only one she relays on when she gets hurt. Her only friend and her only comfort, I am the one who she can freely cry in his arm. She should know that with her action she can change someone else life, she should know that there is no just friend between man and woman. If she didn’t see him as a man, she should tell that to him and let him love someone else. In this story, nor Stella nor arcane won’t let her friend go, they want to have both their love and their friend together but never think about how they truly feel, they never ask themselves, am I really a friend in his or her eyes? Nothing more ?they never care about their friend point of view, they only care about how I feel and who I love.
