@sweetvity idk wym by not trusting the emperor cause as far as I’m reading she doesn’t trust the emperor or the duke. Heck the emperor basically outright just deflect her every time she ask something. Literally she ask a question, he goes “sign the paper”.. bitch what? And its even more pressing for her since her family is going to war and might lose his life, like why are people going off on her so bad saying she’s naive or stupid when shes actually being proactive and trying to settle things on her own for once

I want to slap the FL. I get it being forced into this is not fair but she’s a fucking Royal and that comes with obligations per her role. This is the only sacrificed she has ever made in her life (her health can’t be compromised that’s a natural thing) . Instead of making enemies she should’ve tried harder to make allies.
