I think it’s because she keeps on getting involved in shady work with shady people. If she became a produce seller or craftsman I doubt her customers would have come to burn her house down. It’s not about living a fulfilling life it’s about living a good life and relying on good people. I doubt her husband asked her to become a mercenary to make more money and I doubt he knew anything. So she was making shady money by killing people and put her family in danger because she didn’t care for herself. This is the issue that she’s failed to learn. I also assume relying on her magic is another issue, as it came from her anger and frustration when she lost her humanity. But that’s the main issue.
This is just so cruel.. I thought the condition for her would be like, living a fulfilling life, but given her sin, it’s probably to feel tormented and experience losing something or someone important. I feel sorry for her, after trying to turn a new leaf and experienced living a normal life with her own family only to lose them to the same humans.. I would’ve burned that world
