The fact some people are getting upset with Ruby not confronting this issue is making me utterly pisssed of with how stupid you are being. Ruby pretty much has PTSD (which obiviously known by most people they don’t trust people to just brush it off like its nothing and just tell someone because “Oh we understand and totally believe you when you don’t have actual proof” because news flash that was sarcasm and we no most people who have been abused are believed until actual evidence is shown due to people lying or hiding their injuries so no one knows) if you looked in her perspective I would be more amazed if she isn’t more mentally unstable than she is now. Like seriously she has her memories from her past life and she was already suffering from similar issues to what she is experiencing again in her new life. If I was her most likely I would be acting two particular ways which would be one wanting nothing but death or two becoming just like the villainess and making sure that if I’m going to die I’ll drag those who caused me it to suffer with me (of course that would seem extreme to others, but lets be honest if you were experiencing exactly what Ruby experienced TWICE MIGHT I ADD you most likely wouldn’t be in the right mind to do something morally right). So, that fact you are upset with her not talking to someone should just be kept to yourself because the fact you say this about her is like ignoring those in the REAL WORLD EXPERIENCING the SAME thing as HER as something they can outright say to someone? How would you feel if this happened to you and you had no one to rely on because they either don’t believe you, something happened to them, they are already suffering from similar experience and don’t want them to suffer anymore than they alreadt have, or you can’t trust them because they could just be like them. So how about you just keep your hate towards Ruby to yourself and think before you talk about something like this because although this is just a story its obvious that its a trauma for her (Ruby) and its hard to confide with someone when its a TRAUMA . To be honest I don’t care if I get hated on for talking about this or something else entirely happenes because I just want to state that you should really look in their shoes of what goes through their mind after all you quite literally see Ruby’s trauma when it comes to her even trying to actually ask for help because shes SCARED she will only be turned against and she’ll be alone to suffer because everyone thinks shes just trying to get attention by telling lies about her ABUSE <——-(BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY). Due note I never experienced this, however I have dealt with issues that I could somewhat relate to due to seeing it happen to others. Anyways I'm happy how the author is developing this because you can see that put their thoughts into how would an actual person react or how long would it take to heal. Because the usual outcome is just some stupid kind of scene of like "Oh with the power of love I prove you can tell me immediatly after a few chapters and i'll protect you" because news flash that just feels insulting to people who actually are or even still are affected from there trauma. After all most likely some of the people reading this probably have or someone else they know has experienced something like this. Just really wanted to let off some steam about this becauseI can't stand reading anymore comments like that and I really hope I don't see any like this because that really hurts me that people would see someone with a deep trauma as something disappointing or annoying. Just so some of you who were thinking badly of Ruby due note that some if not all authors get experience or inspiration for their stories from actual problems sometimes whether that be from personal life experience or even someone they know who has suffered. Sometimes they want everyone to be aware of this issue and want to see people who suffer it get the support they need from others who read it or even just encouragment from reading the story themselves to give them hope or courage to ask someone for help. You can even tell sometimes when making their stories they research everything they need to make it as acurate as possible because they don't want to be accused of something they didn't actually mean to do or say in their stories. That's why I'm really happy to see the author put this much effort in it even when some people are upset about it (which is rude this is an actual problem that people are experiencing).
P.S. I probably repeated certain parts a lot, but I just really wanted to get my point across about something this serious.

This is how she was raised you can’t just tell a victim to tell there abuser to stop he can’t keep saying well I know she isn’t okay then why not try harder? For all the people who feel like Ruby isn’t doing anything and why she isn’t opening up and is disappointing… you’ve got to understand that all her life she’s been belittled and tortured, people she thought she could trust betrayed her and most of all her brother has been manipulating her into thinking that everyone else is just bad and she’s a disappointment and can never do anything right. and now that she finally found someone who believes in her, she’s scared if she shows Izek sho she truly is he’ll turn out like them and leave her. This is trauma that will take time for her to talk about so we just need to give her time. And Izek is a true Jem to wait for her to open up herself! He’s noticed and is only trying his best to help so she can feel comfortable to tell him 🙁 Honestly kudos to the author for doing such a good job of progressing this story! Prob the best Isekai Manhwa I’ve read so far!
I read a spoiler that Iz does find out because during some gathering/party, the brother takes Ruby and hits her again and Iz his sister, and some other people walk in on the brother beating her, and I’m sure that where Iz will lose it and he attacks that brother!
