Yeah.. This was some really weird pacing to try and give Asta a more human side to her character.. It feels like it’s leading to a redemption arc, I hope of it does that Asta still properly receives punishment for everyone she’s harmed.
Ok I don’t like the fact that the plot suddenly made Hanerope dumb in this chapter by seeking out the villainess all by herself when it has been shown in past chapters that she’s smart, so there’s no way she would have just went to find Asta without any reinforcements.
Seems that manhwa is speed running quite a lot of things. I bet there is a novel and manhwa just have set panel or chapter limits how much they have time to draw.
