Hmm, well that explains why ciel and seoyun look the same.. and it turns out Ciel is the time traveler…. Can we acknowledge that Seoyun and Seohyun is just too close in names.
And he’s not nice to him now because he’s normal but rather because now he knows how he can help him and no longer has to settle for what brings his brother comfort (without solving the issue)
@tatertots that was the de rigor back then (verrrry loosely 1790-1820 setting by the looks of it) if a family member had a mental illness you either put them in an asylum (horrible place) or kept them away from society in their own home (much more preferable if you could afford it). He isn’t locked up in a room but confined (himself) to the annex with all its facilities and probably can go outside to the grounds. Problem is he finds being around people troubling since he can’t control his powers and ends up hearing everyone’s thoughts so solitude is more comfortable for him even though it’s not the right solution.
….so we’re ok with just locking the brother away if he did have a mental illness then? And now ML likes him, because he knows that his brother is ✨normal✨?
I Stan hot ML

No wonder he was cold to FL. She’s the reason he had to stay in Korea because without a guide they probably would have been forced to send him back
