satan/Adrian didn’t want to posses Adrian’s body he was just forced because of the curse
and I think this is how it worked
Adrian probably died after being born and the baptism and Satan possesed his body (curse) that’s why nothing happened
I think the only reason he is alive is because of Satan
alsooo I read this somewhere that the count is the villain and he is Satan
