No, Seriphana. You are actually right. Tbh I am finding this story rather on a easy side. I mean I don’t like a story with too much drama but I also don’t like a story where logic is not there. As you wrote she is not giving any reason to support her favour towards the male lead. Not only that the crown prince broke off the engagement pretty fast. Atleast I didn’t excepted that. A person with sane mind will never do that. A girl from a powerful family, who is pretty and smart but suddenly have started to act stupid, that will surely rare anyone’s suspicion and no one would want to let go such a potential marriage partner but that Crown Prince did none of the above two.
I agree with the comment below. It’s weird how he’s not questioning it at all and she’s not thinking that there needs to be an excuse. Could be cause he thinks he’s not in a position to ask.? She seems to have the brain adept for business and handling her household affairs good enough.
What botters me is that she’s not provading any excuse to back her generosity towards the male lead.
