I kinda wanted that maybe adoptive daddy duke who ever that helped before coming to a rescue. Or I guess it’s still easier for the child to do it because child isn’t that much of a risk of being able to raise an army – so punishment isn’t death.
Also… Why they didn’t kill our FL… It doesn’t make sense that they kept her alive other than plot armor. Unless there is explanation, it kinda annoys me because the point was in this story that she doesn’t have plot armor.
