I Became the Successor of the Martial God

I’ve read all 20 chapters released so far, and honestly, it’s a decent read. The story follows a fairly familiar setup, your typical Murim family navigating life in the modern world, but it’s executed good enough to keep things engaging. The pacing is decent, the characters have potential, and the world-building is slowly taking shape.

The art is admittedly a bit rough around the edges at this stage, but that’s not uncommon with new series. It reminds me of how The Heavenly Demon Can’t Live a Normal Life started, it was visually shaky at first, but it improved drastically as the story progressed. I wouldn’t be surprised if this series follows the same trajectory.
