The whole scene with MC and the wizard was just messed up. MC had a clear reason why he wouldn’t hire wizards, yet the wizard continued to argue. 2nd, MC was too quick to using violence. 3rd, if he was the head of the wizard guild, he should have been a highly talented wizard. So even if she had her blade to his neck, he should have been able to counter it. So why would the wizard be begging for his life? The only way i’d consider this acceptable, would be if the standard of magic was dirt poor in that world. But if this story displays incredible magic, i will be disappointed, as it would contradict with this wizard’s capabilities. The leader of the wizard guild should have top tier magic skills. Finally, i dont see why the wizards feel the need to be narcissistic. This just feels like an excuse for the author to put in more useless drama.
