That’s actually a good question. Why DID he ignore his previous fiancee’s death? Didn’t the Duke do something similar? She loved him so much, yet he abandoned her, and the same with Joachim. The difference is that the girl took her own life, whereas Nevea left…. I hope there is an actual, understandable reason for Joachim tho
