They don’t exactly end up together, more like co-parenting the kids in an arranged marriage. No other kids. Personally, I don’t think trauma is enough of a reason to justify being shitty to another person, but that every toxic MLs’ excuse nowadays, right? We just learned to live with it.

This story got bad reviews despite being far from the worst. The ML is a complete idiot but doesn’t seem toxic. He’s just socially and emotionally inept. The FL is strong, seems older than the ML, and mainly cares about the kids as any mother would. They got married because of a one night stand and don’t know each other. There is plenty of room for character development.

2. The ML was locked in a dark room with no social interaction and was abused all of his childhood. Yes he’s a little emotionally unavailable but he’s not abusive or mean.
3. The ML did not develop a crush on the friend until they spent time together when she learned swordfighting. It makes sense why she would go to him in the frist place for help. They are friends.
4. Yes, ML did not know how to comfort his grieving wife the miscarriage but the FL family was worse, already making plans for another baby. Not to mention, they were scolding her for getting pregnant but switched up when they knew who the father was. Why? Because they would be able to use the FL for their personal gain.

i personaly think this is good …. thousand of ppl who lost their loved one begging gods to the point they cry their hearts out 😭 just to be giving a chances to meet them again ………….. in this story , God give her chances …. the only chances to meet them again ! FL character no doubt sad BUT since the soul was reborn and its no longer the original FL … i think its better for her to continue her purpose for coming to tht world .. to reunited with her beloved siblings ❤️

as like others pointed out, which is similar to mine own opinion, too many red flags in this manhwa. so its not hating for no reason, dude. i just objectively see it for how it is.
u wanted me to point those flags out? so, here
1/ there is no excuse for ml to treat the kids of his old love better than the dead kid born from him and his wife.
2/ he mentally and emotionally neglect her.
3/ he used her as his unrequited love “substitute”. ogfl is naive when she gave in to him that night, but her hatred toward him later on is justified, not like she did anything wrong to have her soul removed from her body forcefully for the new fl soul to enter, another forced story splot.
4/ the kids “miraculously” have silver hair like fl, isnt this forced plot hole?
5/ there is no excuse for neglecting his wife, he made her pregnant, and then when she lost the child, the fucker just stand there with his face straight wondering what to do, i call it bullshit. need someone to teach? another bullshit.
6/ the kids were used as an excuse to make her stay in this already broken marriage, surely if fl felt the ogfl emotions and memories, then she have to know her resentment and hatred is justified, no amount of reasoning is enough to clear away the anger and justify her stay even if the kids are her siblings reincarnations. another forced story plot.
7/ his past has nothing to do with the treatment of ogfl. the plot was overused in many many kr novels and manhwa. if he married her because of responsibility, act like one, if not, then dont use her as someone else substitute. if the execution of the story was better, this manhwa can be acceptable but here we are.
8/ his act of spending the night with ogfl, i call it rapist fantasy. ogfl clearly refused, but he still forced himself on her. she has no choice but to marry the rapist because of the baby, but then, the bastard just stand there with poker face when she was extremely stressed and grieving, to this point, it was totally unforgivable and the ml cannot be recycled no matter what how u try to sugarcoat his acts with butter, oil or whatever.
9/ as someone said, the idiot bring the kids in right after the baby, whose was of his and her own flesh and blood, died, who in their right mind would welcome them? he doesnt even ask for her opinion, oh wait, but the author used the “ml was neglected and abused in the past” plot to justify it, so it miraculously proceed without hiccups duh. not only she was raped, made pregnant, and have to join a marriage against her own will, and her last hope, her sole reason for living is the baby, but the fucker extinguish that last hope of her too, so i wont find it strange that the ogfl slowly wither away alone and resort to suicide. her dad is just another bullshit, knowing she lost the child, not only he didnt come to comfort her, but not visit her even once after her marriage, what kind of family is that?
so, u are either mentally disabled or just plain ignorant when not notice these flags, or u just deliberately choose to ignore it for your own convenience.

I only read til chapter 9, so I’ll reserve comment on the story itself.

The ‘premise’, however… is so unpleasant lmao. Author wants us to accept these kids from the ml’s ex love as part of the ~family~, so to make it easier to swallow they made the twins the reincarnated siblings of the fl and gave them her hair color, even though neither of the twin’s parents had white hair. As a reader it makes me feel unpleasantly manipulated lmao. ON TOP OF THAT, the ml brought in these kids immediately post the death of the fl’s unborn child. Like wtf???
The story could’ve been cute, but this little tidbit cast a really big ghost over this happy family story. It’s just inappropriately placed. Like how do you expect me to like these kids when they’re clearly painted in the story as ‘replacements’? It’s not the kids’ fault, but imagine having your husband care more about his ex love’s children than he does for your own dead one. He’s gonna be reminded of her every time he looks at them, and eventually he’ll forget about his own child.
No amount of development is gonna make me like this situation lol

I personally think its pretty good, the fml has both memory’s of her first life and the life she possessed u dont see that to often also the kids are really cute, the ML so far seems pretty weird after 9 chapters but he’ll probably get better, the art is pretty good its not crazy good but its good and the plot is pretty straight forward but not bad
. i would rate this a 8/10 (only after 9 chapter btw)
