I think that lady is conjuring that the Mc mom made. Like an imaginary friend. She died but was able to attach a clone to her daughter. So the clone knows some stuff but not a lot. And maybe some magician put in nice memories for her while she was imprisoned?
Please, please, please don’t have her be a friend/ sister/ cousin to the original wife. Men who do the whole “She’s an exact physical copy of my dead loved one, so I love her!” thing are SO GROSS.
Please have them go with her being the actual original wife, but under some sort of spell or something.
